"you gotta eat" and you may as well resume at this fun outing . personally i have the Widescreen VHS in the clamshell of this teriffic romp . Fisher was the best Hammer director . like all his other films for Hammer , this one looks lovely and is heavy with the goth atmosphere . Lee does a great job as Alucard . the whole cast is game and Klove is a nice addition . the women look yummy (especially Barb) and the story rocks . Thorley Walters does a fantastic variation on the Renfield character and ... Read More

Dracula Prince of Darkness had to be one of the longest most boring Hammer films I've ever seen. While there are a couple of good scenes over all it was a waste of Christopher Lee's talent. The color here is basically washed out--particularly the green. And the blacks are not truly black. It looks like the transfer was made from a faded print (although it's generally free of blemishes.) The odd thing is, the widescreen trailer for the film (on disc 2) has stronger ... Read More
