Rating: -
The voice changer in the helmet works very well. There is a band in the back that helps to adjust the fit so the speaker sits in the right position. The eye holes are a little bit of a challenge to see through but overall my nephew had a ball with it. (His dad also had fun playing with it.)

I got this for my 10 year old for Christmas who loved the movie alot! He was pretty pleased about it but I recommend it for younger kids, maybe 8 and below. Not hard to use at all and a pretty cool gift!

I bought this toy for a 6 year old little girl. I wasn't sure if she would like it or not, but took a chance since the reviews were good. She absolutely LOVES it. It is very easy to use and unlike a lot of "voice changing" devices you can actually understand the person speaking through it. I would recommend it highly even to those who are not into Transformers-it is just a cool toy.

"Wicked awesome!" was my son's first response when he opened up his new Optimus Prime helmet. He uttered more positive exclamations after he had a chance to open the package and try the helmet on. He had so much fun in it, we had a hard time talking him into taking it off at bedtime. He wanted to sleep in it!
The helmet is much better, both in quality and "awesomeness" than his Darth Vader helmet, and makes way cooler voice-changes! It is by far his favorite toy, and he got some pretty great ones for Christmas.
The only educational value is stimulation of my son's imagination, but overall, the toy has provided some great fun for all of us. I am so glad we bought it!

My son rec'd this for Christmas. He loves it. It has two modes. One mode has sayings and sounds of Optimus Prime. The other mode is a voice changer. When my son is speaking through the helmet in the voice changer mode it sounds really creepy and not like Optimus Prime at all.
