If you are wondering about the missle firing problems, be sure to read the reviews on the Green nsect bug here in Amazon. Both robots have had this problem, although other problems seem to be rare. Mine did not fire the missles right out of the box. However, with liberal return policies, I was able to return the defective unit and will keep buying until I find one that works. The kid loves it, but is very disappointed at the gun not working. The missles are NOT the problem. TYCO re-supply missles will not help the problem... nor will ANY foam missle (I have scores of them in my house from other toys) fire from a flawed cannon. When I returned mine yesterday ($109 with tax from Target) I received full credit and was told they had several in other Target stores and were liquidating them at $19.99. However, I can only wonder if these are working units or returns....

I was a little skeptical before purchasing this item because of some of the reviews. It actually works really well and I am very pleased with it. I did charge it the appropriate 5 hours prior to use and it worked perfect right from the start. It even worked great after being left out side all night in the rain!! I was shocked but very impressed!! Works with generic foam darts, which is a plus. Would highly recommend for anyone ages 6 and over.

I got this toy for my grandson for Christmas. I was surprised when it arrived because of the quality of the merchandise. It is a fun toy to play with and very very sturdy.

I saw this toy on THE VIEW, my 10 year old son saw it on that episode and wanted it. It was gripping things and shooting it's little darts everywhere. It did nothing like that, and is way overpriced for just a remote walking bug.

This item was more than what I expected. (and larger) It appears to be made very well and is so much more interesting than a regular remote control toy. Though it does not have the speed of getting around like a remote controlled car, it crawls around just like a real bug, and its shooting fire power is great. This toy has made us laugh and so far all the family has had great fun with the NSECT. If it wasnt so expensive I could see how having 2 would add to the fun of playing with this toy.
