We got this for the Granddaughter last Christmas and it's never worked correctly. I had to keep it at the dance studio because my daughter in law was so afraid it would get broken the first day. The kids there have had a ball with it...WHEN it works, which isn't very often. Now something is VERY wrong with it, because instead of the loud noises it made before, it makes a HORRIBLE sound like a death rattle! This upset the children so much that we had to remove the batteries and tell eveyone that Butterscotch is SLEEPING. There is NO customer support from the manufactuer, so forget that! When it does work, it's great company, but when it doesn't, it's very sad! It's better for kiddos who UNDERSTAND it isn't real, the six to eight year old group!

Our 7 year old daughter recieved Butterscotch from Santa Christmas 2006. Now its almost a year later, and she still loves her. We have great video of "The bestest christmas ever!" She still plays with Butterscotch, and brushes her hair and body, and our now 15 month old adores Butterscotch as well. They will both sit and "ride" her together with the clip-clop sounds. Wonderful bonding times with the two of them. Butterscotch is still in great condition, and with our daughter to be born this Thanksgiving I think we will get a lot of wear out of this toy, and it really is well worth the 250 price tag for a toy that will last thru my three children. Also you can buy blankets, saddles and bridles made by people on ebay, to make it special for each child, and it really helps keep the back hair pretty, since all the "riding' can fuzz the hair on the back.

This was initially bought for a Christmas present but we ended up giving it as our daughters fourth birthday gift.....she actually squealed with excitement. For the last four days now she has done nothing but play with the horse. Best purchase ever made. She loves it and the ecitement on her face was well worth the cost of the horse.

We bought this for our daughters first birthday and she squeals with delight when she sits on it. My older children have had a blast with it too. It really is interactive and turns its head towards the baby when she laughs or makes other noises.Cute, cute, cute and I know Butterscotch will be her best friend for many years. :)

This is an awesome pony. So lifelike. I bought it for my newborn nephew but I am an avid horse lover and it's like having my horse right here in my livingroom. It is well worth the money.
