My 6yr old daughter received this for Christmas. She is in love. This pony is absolutely amazing. I expected something really nice for the price, but was wowed when it arrived. It is extraordinary for an extra special child!

We purchased this horse for my two daughters for Christmas, it was a great present to have by the tree. The horse truly is amazing, very life like and beautiful. The horse, however, is proving to be more of a family friend then a toy. There really is no playing with him, it just kind of stands in the room and interacts as we go by. You can feed it and sit on it but it really only holds a young child's attention for a few minutes. It simply is a fun thing to have in the room. You really do grow attached to it since it is so life like. I often will go up and pet it just because. Overall it has made a nice addition to our toy room.

Wow! This pony is amazing! It is very realistic and the kids have really enjoyed figuring out what it can do without looking at the instructions (eats a carrot, turns it's head, whineys, makes galloping sounds, etc...). It is the next best thing to a real pony, but it can be kept inside! We love it!

After some fear and trembling, I bought Butterscotch for my six-year-old daughter. After carefully following the instructions for assembly (I strongly recommend completing asembly before the child sees the toy!) I tried the pony out. The loud clicking sound that many parents have complained about is a serious issue. I found a recommedation from a reviewer to remove the lower screw in the head assembly and move it to a higher place on the same side of the assembly. It worked like magic! The toy performs wonderfully and my daughter is enraptured. It has been worth the $250 I paid for it already in just a few days. The smiles on my child's face are priceless. Buy Butterscotch, but get on the internet and find the fix for the click before giving her to your child.

Our 4 yr old Granddaughter told Santa she wanted "BUTTERSCOTCH" more then anything in the World. And Santa told me that he WILL show up on Christmas morning!!
We have 2 "REAL" horses ... but Butterscotch can live in her bedroom, and she take care of him, just like the real horses. She can groom him, and feed him, and talk to him.
A darling little girl and a cute little Pony ... a match made in Heaven.
