I was waiting to see some reviews before I took the chance and bought this for my nine year old son. I can honestly say I think my son viewed this gift like I viewed my electric football set I got when I was his age, .............WOW!
I took advantage of the special price offered with no shipping, ...........I'm sure you will be able to pick up a game at walmart or someplace on clearance, ...........but, ..........the manufacturer did themselves a dis-service by not having games set up as Demos at retailers.
At the end of a game you and/or your kids will be huffing and puffing, .............I think it is a great way for couch potato kids to get up and move! My son plays pony football and this is a great way for him to get his legwork/exercise in the winter......heck, ............I'm soaking in a wet t-shirt as I write this review.
Take the time to get through the training camps, before you start playing a game.
My son says it gives him a work-out and it is fun! He also says, and I agree, that the game is easy to understand and work, but the training camps are the key to understanding how it works, have fun!!!

My son is 7 and had no problem figuring out all the calls and settings. It came as an early Christmas present so we have now tested it out almost a week. Easy set up. It works so you can do 1 or 2 players.
