Fisher-Price T.M.X. Tickle Me Elmo

My daughter wanted this toy for her two-year-old son so I gave it to him & she says it was his favorite birthday gift. It just rolls around and giggles. Beats me why it's so popular.

Tickle Me Elmo, the one that rolls all over the floor is worth every Penny. I would say adults laugh louder than the kids because it really is an engineering marvel and most people have never seen anything like it. "Give Elmo a Break" he says after rolling all over the floor and then stands up after each tickling episode-each one different than the first (there are three).

Our kids Love this toy! I, on the other hand, was a little disappointed. He's cute and funny, but not soft by any means. He is basically a robot covered in Elmo fur with no padding in between. And his left arm has Nothing in it and is sewn to his side. Why is this? He works great, just as detailed. But, for the price, he could be a little less robot like with some simple changes. My 3yr old daughter prefers her Guess What Elmo because she can carry him around like a baby, and he sings the Elmo's World theme song along with asking different questions every day. If I had to choose only one of these to buy, I would go with the Guess What Elmo for about $15 less than TMX Elmo.

My baby cries EVERYTIME she sees the Elmo laughing.
The red hair fall off very easily, I have to vaccuum the ground whereever I put or play it. Very troublesome and not sanitary, what if the baby ate or swallowed the hair by accident?
You'll see what I am saying on the carpet where this Elmo stood because it leaves the RED marks very noticeably.
Conclusion is both the PARENTS and BABY are very scared of this creature.

I bought one as an adult because I was expecting my first child. My 2 year old nephew saw it and played with it every time he came over so I bought him one for his house! He just loves it. Truth be known, we love it too!
