 
Fisher-Price T.M.X. Tickle Me Elmo

I purchased this Elmo for my invalid mother-in-law who is unable to do anything for herself. She doesn't have much to laugh about these days but she will laugh at this. Someone has to push the buttons as she is unable to do it. So when grandkids or great-grandkids come over, everyone has to try it out. And they all get a kick out of it.
The only drawback is the fabric, Elmo leaves red fuzzies everywhere. The fabric is too cheap.
And every once in a while, Elmo gets 'stuck' in a laugh and needs a little help getting going again.

I bought Elmo for my son's birthday, but I'm enjoying elmo just as much as he is. I'm a little upset that another elmo came out right after I bought this one so I guess I'll be buying him another one.........lol.

My daughter recieved this doll as a gift for Easter last April. While the doll is a great toy and is extremely durable from what I can tell, my daughter (22 months old) is uterly terrified of it. We had to put it in the closet before she would even go into her bedroom (knowing it was in the toybox). We as her parents thought she would grow out of it since she was only 14 months when she got it, but she hasnt yet. I would definately see how your child reacts to such toys before purchasing them for small children.
It is a humorous to watch the little Elmo rolling across the floor, but not so funny to be cuddling the crying toddler afterwards.

My sister gave my daughter the TMX Elmo as a gift for her first birthday because she adores Elmo. The entire family was there at her party for Elmo's big debut, and I must say we were all laughing so hard we had tears in our eyes. Unfortunately my daughter is now the one crying because after 6 months of very limited use Elmo has stopped working. We have tried changing our the batteries several times, but his motor seems to be dead. So, yes this toy was fun for us while it lasted, but it didn't last very long!

I bought this toy as a gift for a friends grandchild. They were so impressed that I was asked to buy a second one. The kids loved this toy.
