I got this as a gift. I really like it, especially because it can be set so high. It's extremely well built, and the many features are great. Unfortunately, the ball kinda fell apart, which wasn't bad, since it actually is kinda better without the covering and I have a backup ball. My real complaint is that the scoring failed after a couple of days. So all the features have pretty much gone to waste. I still like it, the features aren't necessary, but it's a disappointing that the electronic part fell apart so quickly.

We bought this for my 7 year-old son for Christmas a year ago and he has absolutely loved it. He still plays with it every day. The scoring mechanism broke and the balls fell apart, but the hoop is still a hit. You can purchase replacement balls from Hasbro for $3.00 each (http://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?page=cs_parts). We have gone through a handful of them. Overall though I highly recommend it. They are great for snowy/rainy days when the kids can't get outside to play.

5 weeks have passed and the Showtime is a big hit. My kids play so much and so hard it sounds like they might come crashing through the floor above. There have been no issues to date with the electronics- my biggest concern, and the assembly was both easy and sturdy. This is one of those few items nowadays that live up to their packaging image. I am seldom impressed, but I'll go ahead and call myself impressed with this unit. I enjoy knowing the kids are getting a workout even while in the house- they frequently emerge from a game winded and sweaty.

We bought this for use at an after school care program. We have limited space and needed an outlet for our boys during inclimate weather. This has been a wonderful addition to our program. The children look forward to bad weather now.

I ordered the Nerf Showtime Hoops Indoor Gaming System on a Friday and received it on Monday. I got this for my son's 6th birthday and boy was I father of the year when he discovered the box. Assembly of the system was easier than I thought it would be. The system fits great inside of my son's room (w/8-foot ceiling); Nerf recommends that your ceiling is at least 86". Furthermore, the game allows you to adjust the spotlight according to the size of your room. My son won't stop playing it and believe me, it will give you a workout. Very good product for under a $100.
