I got one of these for each of my 6-yr-old twins for Christmas and they love it! They don't even realize what they are learning and think they are playing video games like their big brother. So far, it's been very durable, even after getting dropped. I recommend this product to anyone with young children!

I bought this for my four year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! She wanted the Nintendo DS but I thought that product was too expensive for her age and bought the leapster instead. She thinks it is awesome, even better than a DS. And I love the educational games.

I bought this for my 4 year old son for Christmas this year. He absolutely loves the Leapster. It seems to be holding up well, and is quite durable (It has been dropped a couple of times on hardwood floors and it didn't seem to phase it). The screen is good quality and it doesnt seem to small. This is a great investment for kids on the go. It is a quite car toy and it is very educational. I would highly recommend this product.

This is the second Leapster in our home. We bought the pink one for our daughter last Christmas. She was 2.5 yrs at the time. While it was perhaps just a bit advanced, not too much, for our little girl, she still enjoyed. At that age she particularly enjoyed the simple built-in drawing program. On year later she has a few cartridges and enjoys figuring out the different games. This green Leapster was for our son who is only two and some months. Again the Leapster is a little to advanced for a child this age. However I've noticed that our boy also likes the drawing program. The Diego cartridge is definitely too complex for our boy, but we know he'll eventually figure it out. For now he's sharing it with his older sister.

My 4 year old has been playing with the Leapster for over a year & 1/2.
It is very sturdy, travels well, and educational.
New games make for a fresh & interesting toy- over and over again.
