Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - It works, so far.
The hardest part to cope with for me was knowing that I was buying the most expensive paperweight ever, but Halo 3 came out and that was enough for me to buy this foot warmer. I've had mine for about a month now and so far, no problems. XboxLIVE is easy to use, no disc scratches, but I know all to soon that I'll be tossing this out the door when it "fails" like the rest. I don't understand why Microshaft didn't just recall and fix this problem all-together. No consumer wants to buy something new and know that what they are buying is going to break down in a matter of months, wait 6 weeks for it to be fixed and break down again.

What's the main problem that causes the RROD, well the solder they used wasn't meant to take the heat caused by the 360 and thus, hairline fractures occur. Experts say it's impossible to fix correctly, and that's why people keep having the same problem. Microshaft is giving is customers the shaft, but thanks to Halo 3, GOW, and its reasonable priced console of the line-up, its still racking sales.

My advice: You are buying this at your own risk. Just make sure you can get as much game time in with your favorite games before it blows.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Too expensive !
Why would I pay more money to get an XBox 360 + HD Drive + Wireless controller instead of buying a PS3, and in a couple of years, I'll likely have to throw away my HD Drive, and will be playing mediocre games compared to 50Gig releases on a Blu-ray.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great system!
I've been out of gaming for many years until I went to my friend's house and saw him playing COD3 on the 360 in HD. I was in awe. The next week I went out and bought one. I have not regretted it once. The only problem I have with the 360 is that EVERYTHING that you need costs extra. The HD-DVD player ($179), the wireless adapter ($99), extra controller ($40), XBox Live ($50/yr). As far as available games and game play goes though, I love it and would buy one again.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - If you want fun, buy a PS3
I have played the Xbox 360 and was not impressed. The Nintendo Wii did not interest me. So i stuck with the best....Sony. People gun sony down but if you try the console you will fall in love with the graphics and the power!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - buyer beware
I'm a disgruntled and disappointed 360 owner. I waited eagerly for the 360 to be released and when I finally saved up my money I picked one up as soon as I could. I was very pleased by the 360. The graphics are slick, the controller is the best of the next gens and xbox LIVE is user friendly and innovate. For a while there it seemed that we were a perfect match, my xbox and I, but that all changed when one day I turned it on and I saw what every 360 owner dreads. The red rings of death. After less than a year the thing just up and died. I kept it cool and ventilated. Never played it for more than three or so hours at a time. I was a very responsible 360 owner but it just broke. I sent it in and Bill Gates fixed it and sent it back with in a couple weeks. I was hurt but I was willing to try our relationship again. For a while things were like the good old days. 360 and I watching movies and playing games. Good times. I was planing to spend even more time with my 360 by picking up HALO 3. but...you guessed it. It just broke for the SECOND TIME!!! Now I have a broken 360 and an unplayed copy of HALO 3 collecting dust on my TV stand. I'm just frustrated and I feel like I made a very poor investment by buying the 360. The thing is just not manufactured well and Microsoft should of made sure that the bloody thing worked before releasing it. Not all xbox's break but thousands do. The gamble is up to you. I bought the 360 to have fun but so far it's caused me nothing but frustration and headaches.
