Radio Flyer Ultimate Canopy Steer & Stroll Trike
Rating: -
What others have said about the canopy and cup holder is true -- these are worthless. (Don't even put them on.) BUT, the inflatable tires make the upgrade to the ULTIMATE worth the extra bucks. You could spend an additional $140 to get the Kettler Mac-Daddy Benz of trikes, and it would likely be a higher-quality machine, but you'd have spent over $200 on a tricycle for your two-year-old. If you like what that says about you, here you go: [...]
If you'd rather get your kid a decent trike without having it do your bragging, the RF Ultimate is a decent choice.

We purchased this bike for our son for his 2nd birthday and he absolutely loves it. It is durable and easy to put together. It's a great transitional bike for a toddler and the optional canopy/handle is nice to use when the little one gets too tired to pedal.

My son is 2 and loves this trike. He did not know how to peddle when we got it for him but it only took him a few days on this trike to learn. It seems very durable and we like that we can take him on walks with it and not have to chase him. It has no brakes but I think he would not have learned to peddle so easy if it did have brakes. I would recommend this to anyone with a 2 yr old.

We have had this for 6 months and our son still loves to ride it. It has lasted through walks on dirt roads, and riding down the ditch. Our son is now already riding without much of our help. The only thing that I don't like: this is great for tall people-my husband loves it! But not so much for those of us who are shorter, I'm 5"1' and the handle is a bit high. Otherwise, this is the perfect gift for 18 months and up.

This was very easy to assemble, once we got the front tire on the right way. The handle/canapy assembly is easy to put on, and remove. My daughter went from not able to peddle the old trike to riding this one up and down the driveway in 3 days. She loves it, and it will fit her for at least a couple more years.
My husband likes the rubber tires, and I like the fact that it's very hard to tip over.
We all like the bucket to carry the mail home from the postoffice, and the cup holder on the canapy is really handy at the fairgrounds.
