My daughter received this for Christmas and was thrilled. It doesn't really let you play, the strings are more for looks. The push buttons make all the sounds. My daughter has had a lot of fun with it. My only complaint, it needs an on/off button to turn it completely off. It does have an off button. But the minute it gets knocked or moved, the electric guitar sounds go crazy! No too great when you in the middle of the night when you accidently step on it. It is very durable and a fun toy!

My three year old loves this toy. She plays it constantly and especially loves the Hillary Duff song "Come Clean."

My 4 1/2 year old bought this with her own money. She was initially attracted to the headset microphone but doesn't use it much. I like the microphone because it holds the mike away from her mouth and doesn't get the feedback she gets with other microphones that she holds.
Her favorite part is singing along with the included tracks (especially "Let the rain fall down.."). Apparently they will eventually sell additional cartridges for more songs.
We also have a much cheaper guitar of similar size and operations (handheld mike, but no songtracks) that has already a control piece broken off.

i don't know much about this product. i only know that this toy is on the top of their list. it may be a pretent guitar but just being able to pertent to play and to sing will be enough for them.

This toy is so fun!! Key word.......FUN! My daughter, aged 5 loves to get dressed up and pretend she's a rock star and sings her heart out! We've had this for a couple of months now and she's not bored yet. This guitar is amazingly quite durable! It has been dropped a few times and still works great! Any little girl would love this! I do think the age range is better suited for 4 to 7 year olds???
