This is my third pedometer purchased. The others were too sensitive to position and either didn't measure steps or counted them twice. The 112 is intuitive to use and appears to be quite accurate. It is far superior to other brands I have owned

Work's great! I wish I had something more insightful to say, however I bought this as a gift for my wife, and she's been the primary user 99.9% of the time. That said, I have used it once to count my steps in a typical work day and was impressed that the predicted distance that I cover matched up very near my own estimation (basically, I guessed that from my parking space to my cubicle is about 1/4 mile, and that's about how many steps the pedometer displayed).

This Omron HJ-112 pedometer is accurate and reliable and gives a more realistic sense of how many steps are taken per day since it won't count a "jiggle" or mistep.
I have had one for years and recently purchased this one for my husband since mine performed so well.

This item is easy to use and understand making our challenge fun and exiting.

After having owned over a dozen different pedometers over the years, this one, the Omron HJ-112, turns out to be the one I have been searching for. It not only has all the features one could possibly want, they work as aadvertised and as they are supposed to work. I find the most convenient feature is the ability of the Omron to work accurately while in your pocket. If you want or need an accurate and reliable pedometer, I would recommend the Omron HJ-112 without reservation.
