My daughter loves this fridge toy! It keeps her busy while I am preparing dinner. Caution, the song is very catchy. You will find yourself singing along... S says Sssss S says Ssss every letter makes a sound and S says Sssss!

I bought this toy after seeing my 19 mo. old daughter playing with it for an hour while visiting at one of my friend's homes. I figured, at the very least, I can get her to stay away from me while I'm washing dishes or at the stove. But what an incredible learning tool this turned out to be! I don't think it'll work wonders if your child isn't ready for it, but my dd has always been much more verbal than physical and this toy really helped that explode. She was already getting the tune of the alphabet song and maybe could sing a few of the letters before I got this toy. Now, at 21 mos. and only having it for a couple months, she can sing the ENTIRE alphabet song (although M-N-O is often mumbled) and can recognize about 20 letters (only the Capital letters and when written out clearly in block print). Obviously, it required reinforcement by continually encouraging her to identify letters on books, signs, and other places. But I definitely think the Leap Frog opened the door and helped by providing extra reinforcement when I wasn't doing it. It also is great for kids to hear the letters and the alphabet song as sung by someone else other than me (who she hears all day long).
LOVE IT! BUY IT!! One of the best toys for this development stage!

What better way to get your kids to learn the alphabet while also bringing you something from the fridge as you sit back and enjoy the game on TV? This is a great product for kids who want to learn the alphabet and the sounds that each letter makes. It can get a bit annoying to adults if you hear it over and over again, but they were smart and gave an option for a lower volume. This product was a great help to me when teaching my daughter each letter. Now that she knows how to read we passed this down to some of her friends who are learning the letters. It's a great birthday gift for anyone between the ages of 3 and 5 or 6.

I would recommend this toy to all parents of toddlers. My 21 month old learned the entire alphabet in a matter of weeks after receiving this toy as a gift. Product is easy to use and keeps the child interested. My son continues to play with it even though he now knows all his letters. When we're out at a store, people are amazed when he points to signs and yells out the name of each letter. They are surprised to learn how young he is. Highly recommend this as an educational and entertaining toy.

This is a perfect way for toddlers to learn the alphabet letters. The voice and music are very clear and catchy. He's singing the letters when he's not even playing with them because of the tune. Gav recognizes many of them even tho we have not taught them to him.
