I bought this product online for my 16 month old granddaughter. I was a little worried when I tested it myself before giving it to her. In a quiet room it seemed too loud and there was no way to control the volume.
But on Christmas morning, with 5 of us in the room, the volume seemed fine. She knew right off the bat what to do with it. Some of the tunes even had her dancing. I think as she gets a bit older, she will figure out that each button makes a different sound.
Unlike some of the reviews I've read, my daughter-in-law, who has a degree in Music Therapy was not turned off by the quality of the sound.
All in all, I'm happy I bought it because my granddaughter seems to love it.

Love this item - teaches instruments & how they come together to form an orchestra. Colors look better in person than in the photo. My toddler son loves his, and has ever since he was an infant. He learned to push the buttons back when he was 9 months or so.

This toy is great for babies to hear and touch. The sounds are great and when it plays it lights up. Worth the money to purchase.

I bought this for my 9 month old nephew and he loves it. His 2 year old sister also likes to play it too... I would recommend this toy to anyone looking for a toy for a toodler.
