Stratego-Milton Bradley Board Games

No, it isn't a game to bend your mind with deep strategies, but it isn't tic tac toe either. So what do I still like about this game after all these years? It is a short game. There is the element of surprise. It is easy to learn. It is inexpensive. Kids and adults can play against each other. It is all you want in a simple board game. And it is fun. I see comparisons to Risk, another fine game. But there are no comparisons anymore than one can compare checkers to chess or Monopoly to Life.

A friend and I played it and it truly is a great game. It never gets boring and is a great game to play with Relatives and friends.

This game was a huge dissapointment after playing the classic as a kid. The games require some assembly and the rules are reversed (highest number is highest rank as opposed to number 1 being the highest in the previous version). All I see see that has improved in this version is Milton Bradley's profit. This is Stratego Deluxe - not the original Stratego.

after you play this game a few tiems you realize how boring it truely is you'll have fun a few times but jsut get risk or something where the outcome isn't always exactly the same

This game is (in my opinion) the most boring game I have ever played. This is not strategy, it is luck. I was literally bored to sleep playing this game! I will stick to something that actually causes you to use brain power instead of the ability to move your arm while sleeping! Glad a friend brought this over and I didn't waste money on it. Even my 10 yr old son thought it was boring. We will stick to RISK!
