My son (12 yrs) received this for Xmas last year and has not taken it out of the closet since January. He played with it for a month straight learning the capabilities of the robot (he never touched the mini robot) but lost interest in it once he figured out it couldn't do anything else without spending more money on it!

I got the Robosapien to scare my cats and dance but it's too slow to interact well with pets. The cats just sit there and stare at it when I'd love for them to play with it. It was fun to play with for about an hour then I got bored because I didn't feel like programming all the dance moves. I didn't try making him pick things up but I did make him walk all over my apartment and he kept getting stuck in passageways when the wires in his arms would brush against anything.
