This globe was purchased as a Christmas gift for my son who was five in November. Prior to buying the globe, he already had a serious interest in geography and flags of the world. What better gift than a talking globe? Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined what a hit this would be! He will sit for an hour or more playing with this globe. This is an excellent product for nurturing the love of geography in your child. It teaches many different and relevant facts besides the basic country names, capitals and continents. My kids particularly loved the indigenous music of various countries. The games are also good and provide a lot of challenge.
