In Spanish no Subtitles A cruel man's greed leaves an entire village without water, causing misery and desolation. Everyone in Río Escondido has to fight for justice. A new teacher uses her energy to inspire courage in the villagers to demand what is theirs, even at the risk of their very lives. Río Escondido reflects the raw reality of small villages in the Mexican countryside which are still controlled by local bosses. In Spanish no Subtitles

Outside the film's opening and closing scenes, the story avoids an excessively conventional narrative style, moving very slowly and calmly to a gentle climax. The insights ... Read More
