Editorial Review:
Product Description: Connect your appliances into the Kill A Watt, and assess how efficient they are. A large LCD display counts consumption by the Kilowatt-hour just like utility companies. You can figure out your electrical expenses by the hour, day, week, month, even an entire year. Monitor the quality of your power by displaying Voltage, Line Frequency, and Power Factor

The instrument arrived well packaged in perfect condition. Exactly what I expected. I am very pleased with the features. Simply to use. The small one page "manual" that came with it is very clear. Is very important to use it with the "Power Strip Liberator" (a short cord extension) in some crowded places where could be difficult to read the screen on the instrument.

With rising energy costs, I wanted to know where my Kilowatt Hours were going to, this product has helped immensely. If it plugs into a wall, it can be plugged into this unit. I would leave it attached to various appliance for a few days each to see how much energy each device was consuming.
Highly recommended!

This product works as expected. I purchased this unit to make an analisis about parasit power consumption in my electronic appliances in home.

This is to cool down the lcd lamp for protection (fans and additional circuit works for this time). Can be a mistake if I remove the AC cable power or enterely shutdown the tv without allow this process ... Read More

This is the best way I know to find out how much power your electrical devices are using. Found out that battery chargers don't all work the same. Some stop using power when they are through charging and some don't. Those are the ones to unplug when not in use. My computer monitor uses approx 20 watts less power when in standby mode. Coffee brewers and toaster ovens use lots of power. Coffee cup warmers use a considerable amount too. This device will pay for itself with the electricity you will save ... Read More

I bought one of these a year ago when our electric bills were sky high and I couldn't figure out why. The device is easy to use, you just plug it in an outlet and then plug the appliance or device that you want to measure into the Kill A Watt monitor. You can tell at once how many watts per hour it uses or you can leave it plugged in over several days or a week to see how much electricity the item uses over the time period and then get an average per hour.
I found that one of those little ... Read More
